Carpentry
Our philosophy in the repair of timber framed buildings is based on our extensive knowledge and experience, whilst maintaining the structural integrity of the buildings and environs. Our thorough understanding of the different properties of green and seasoned oak ensures the most appropriate material for each project.
Joinery
Our experience ensures high quality workmanship with maximum retention of original fabric. Intricate mouldings can be replicated using traditional planes and techniques.
Stonemasonry
Our masons are specially trained to undertake work on Scheduled Monuments and Listed Buildings. We are also experienced in consolidation work, rough racking, traditional stone and flintwork, gauged brickwork and specialist lime pointing.
Plaster and Daub Work
All our work is carried out using lime and clay products. Lime is essential for breathability and allows necessary structural movement. It creates an authentic finish which cannot be achieved with modern products. Our craftsmen are skilled in all aspects of plastering, rendering, daubing and limewashing.
